Description
Body is coir in shade with a thin line of red framing the saree. Small white flowers with orange stalk called shiuli is embroidered in kantha stitch stretching as skirt border at length.
The anchal has a band of zari in fine stripes with shiuli flowers and ferns neatly embroidered in kantha stitch. Goddess Durga ‘ s face is exquisitely embroidered in yellow , like a mask amongst the flowers and ferns. This very symbolically establishes Durga puja festival.
Blouse is a shade darker in color than the body with shiuli flowers embroidered on the sleeves.
